I miss that place, where even a wave can’t bother. I’ll stay there a bit longer, as the peaceful will be what I feel further.

Fake eyes on the wings of this butterfly are believed to be used for survival. Ya, those black spots are actually fake big eyes used to scare enemy. So, when this creature feels in danger, it opens its wing and the enemy gets scared.

Anyway, should we get scared when this beautiful creature open its wings??? Come on Butt, you just look more beautiful while opening your wings. We are sorry for not getting scared

It’s a praying mantis, but it’s not currently praying as it stays quiet Perhaps, this mantis is just sending prayer in heart without any rituals and moves.

Anyway, it’s quite tricky to obtain a good focus for this object, intially due to the low spec digital pocket cam.

Hmm… please send me prayers so I can have a good one for this Or, should I ask this praying mantis to also send me prayers… And I believe that it will never stop sending me prayers. Amin

It’s all about the sun.

“Where are you??? Are you hiding? Why are you hiding from us? We need you”.

Then the sun answers “Be patient Darla. Hiding? Nope, I never hide, not even once. But I am just hidden. While I am hidden from you, I remain shining the other”

*sounds like a silly conversation

Anyway, this picture was taken a few days ago when I took part in a social event organized by campus. This annual event named “Bakti Farmasi” has been frequently organized by pharmacy students of University of Andalas, this year is the 27th. About the pic, it was taken by Samsung Galaxy Gio (GT-S5660)

Location: Padang Pariaman, around 2 hours trip from Padang, West Sumatera Province, Indonesia. This town got the hardest impact of last 2009 earthquake in western Sumateran island. It’s now still recovering…

Lake Singkarak, West Sumatera Province, Indonesia.

“Singkarak” has been popular since the Indonesian Government annual sport even named “Tour de Singkarak” was started a few years ago. This year, 2011, this sport event took cyclists over 743,5 kilometers through the beautiful surrounds of West Sumatra.

The picture is the answer for this week photo challenge: sunset

There are a few things I want to write and describe about this object:

first: I don’t know the name of this flower although it grows (or is grown) just in front of my house. I can just describe that this plant is a “herbaceous plant” <– I got this term while taking Plant Taxonomy class a few couple years ago. This plant is generally maroon colored with hairy leaves.

second: The flower is really cute and tiny. It was just my luck to get this pic as if it is quite big. I wish this wonderful flower with its amazing color combination is a bit larger. It will color up our garden with yellow-pinky flower covered by dark maroon leaves.

third: Pretend that this flower doesn’t have a name, yet. What name is proper according to you…? Thanks for your comments and opinions

Anyway, I think I am now wondering what’s this plant called in your country, ‘coz I my self don’t know what plant this is. I thought this plant is dandelion, but a few others said it ain’t dandelion, it’s something else. So I am now confused. So, what’s yours?
